We’re having another tournament!

McMinnville Chess Club will include an in-house tournament on October 22nd, and, of course, free, open play as usual for those not in the tournament.

John Burroughs (left) will make his debut as a Tournament Director.

Details:

  • Swiss format, with 3 rounds and a G/15 time control
  • If we get more than 8 players, we’ll go to 4 rounds of G/10
  • No entry fee, won’t be rated
  • There will be a prize!  

Games will start promptly at 5:45pm on Wednesday night. We will start on time so we can finish up before Mac Market closes. BYOB (bring your own board!) and clocks. The “Chess Clock by Chess.com” app is good to use in a pinch.
