McMinnville Chess Club at GrizzFest

Are you a highschooler or family member interested in the Mac High Chess Club?

McMinnville Chess Club is proud to announce that several of our members and organizers will be at McMinnville High School’s GrizzFest this September 17th! We’ll be there to talk with students, family, and staff about the Mac High Chess Club, an official afterschool activity beginning Wednesday, September 24th (3:30-4:30pm).

You’re invited to drop by our table at GrizzFest, sign up for the Mac High Chess Club, learn about other chess resources and activities in town, and meet and play others. Chess sets and clocks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

This event coincides with McMinnville Chess Club’s regular club meeting at Mac Market (5:30 to close), so you and your family can make it a chess-filled evening — visit us at GrizzFest and sign up for Mac High Chess Club, then later get some pizza at Honey Pie Pizza at Mac Market, and play chess upstairs (above Honey Pie) with the McMinnville Chess Club.

Our GrizzFest table will be staffed by:
