DESCRIPTION:“Play chess\, you will!” – Yoda \nCome celebrate Star Wars Chess Day with us at Troon Vineyard on May 4th\, 2025 from 4-6pm. We’ll be meeting at the back table\, with room for more as seating becomes available. \nTroon is a sponsor of our upcoming McMinnville Chess Tournament at Evergreen Museum on May 10th\, 2025\, and this is a great opportunity to visit and experience one of McMinnville’s excellent establishments along historic Downtown Third. We’re grateful to Troon for sponsoring! \nABOUT OUR VENUE\nAt the Troon Biodynamic Wine Bar\, you’ll find a complete range of wines from Troon’s estate winery in the Applegate Valley\, which is located in the beautiful Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. Sample\, explore\, and enjoy syrah\, grenache\, mourvèdre\, roussanne\, viognier and other wines as a counterpoint to the wonderful pinot noirs produced in the Willamette Valley. \nAlthough Troon’s tasting room is a family-friendly venue\, for this event we ask that young children not attend. Table space is limited\, and RSVPs are not required.
